Meet the Baker

Meet the Baker: Brittany Davenport
Welcome to Providence Provisions Microbakery! I’m Brittany Davenport—wife, mama, and the hands behind every loaf, muffin, and focaccia that comes out of this little kitchen. What began as a personal love for sourdough quickly became something more: a way to serve, create, and trust in God’s provision—one bake at a time.

In 2024, after a major career change and a leap of faith, I found myself leaning into this passion like never before. I started baking for neighbors and friends, learning and growing with each batch. When someone offered to pay for a loaf, Providence Provisions was born. The name reflects both my faith and the heart behind every offering: that even in uncertain times, God is faithful, and He provides.

Here at Providence Provisions, I focus on slow-fermented sourdough and baked goods made with care, quality, and a touch of Southern hospitality. Everything is small-batch, made in my home kitchen right here in Austin, Texas, and abides by the Texas Cottage Food Law.

Whether you're enjoying a loaf at your dinner table, gifting a treat to someone you love, or savoring something sweet with your morning coffee, I hope it brings you a taste of comfort and joy.

From my home to yours—thank you for being here.

With love,
Brittany
